The best Baseball movie was "Field of Dreams"
Sorry Bull Durham doesn't even make my top ten.

Field of Dreams bump.
If you don't get choked up during James Earl Jones' "Baseball" speech near the end of the movie, then you ain't a baseball fan.

The best Baseball movie was "Field of Dreams" Well..., it's marginally about baseball. I love "Major League", but the best movie about baseball is "The Rookie" (in spite of a mediocre review by Ebert), a true story about HS baseball coach John Morris whose team bets him that if they get to the state championships he has to try out for the Show. They do....

Another good one is: "Long Gone". It was made for HBO (yes I know, but it is good). Stars: William Peterson.
It's about a minor league team in the south.
