My point is that by being so "in your face" all the time the conservative point of view can be drowned out. If your audience only hears catcalls & jeers - they probably will have a very difficult time hearing anything else you may have to say. Gloating over victories & dancing over a fallen opponent is not the way to win friends and influence people. Remember the victory of the '94 elections and what happened after.

His point is to make us not boo Clinton when Clinton appears. We are to feel guilty about being uncivilized, you see.

This is the tactic that the Rats have used on Republicans for years. Since we are generally a civilized lot, we are made to feel guilty and keep our mouths shut. Then people like Clinton can go their merry way, pretending that they are well-liked and we are in the minority.

This technique worked for the Rats for many years. Post 9/11, it doesn't work any more, which is why it is suuch a feeble criticism when read in black and white here on these pages.

There are a whole host of Rat techniques that are failing...class warfare, race warfare, making Republicans feel guilty, political correctness, anti-patriotism, hatred of oil companies, etc. etc.

Their playbook is out of date, and they don't know what to do.
