}...most academic scholarship deems "British Israelite" ten lost tribe theorizing as spurious and disputes the historical speculations it is comprised of.  ...  if there is any truth to it ... will blow everyone's minds.

Nicely said.  In my experience dealing with Clergy and Seminarians they live in fear that someday they may have to confront this subject of the Lost Tribes of Israel head on, for they are quite unarmed. All they have in preparation is typically one day in class spent "discrediting" British Israelism as a religion. To have to acknowledge the wealth of archeological and historical evidence accumulated in the past century would mean major revisions in thinking and teaching.

While BI as a functioning religious movement clearly needs some discrediting for its deviations from scripture, so does every other religious movement, because ALL have strayed in one way or another.  The unfortunate thing is that by concentrating on the errors of British Israelism the mostly excellent biblical and historical research which underpins much of it is tossed out as well.  Satan wins again using the simple device of distraction.

}The personal animus ... is a ... distraction from the matter at issue.

Again Satan wins, not on the merits, but by diversion and distraction.

}It seems unlikely to me ... this type of people would be fated to end-up in some third-world backwater of humanity in terms of nationhood ... there are a lot of Old Testament promises left unfulfilled pertaining to them, so clearly we aren't done with them(wherever and whoever they may be).

Yes, even a little serious examination of the topic raises numerous unsettling questions about the "Lost Tribes" which are not easy kissed off with sarcasm and cliches.

}I did read one E. Raymond Capt book, "The Great Pyramid Decoded".

I skimmed it once but am not much into pyramids.  For all the uninformed criticism of him (never the book and it's findings), Capts book on The Assyrian Tablets is the seminal work of the past few decades and the starting point for anyone interested in the subject.  BOOK

Exactly what archaeological and historical evidence IS that, Densa? Please provide the evidence, not just a book or a list of books. Tell is exactly what archaeological evidence "accumulated in the past century" that provides this proof that is claimed IN those books or any other source. Take a few minutes and quote them, please.

Why did Capt lie about his educational background?

Where is the "Accademia Testina Per Le Scienze, (established A.D. 450) Pescara, Italy" and why is the only reference on the World Wide Web to this "esteemed" 1353 year old organization which granted Capt an honorary Doctor of Literature Degree found in his Bookjacket bio???

Why has The California Commission of Teacher Credentialling have no record of E. Raymond Capt receiving a Teaching Credential in Biblical Archaeology . . . of one in History? Could it be that there IS NO California Teaching Credential for Biblical Archaeology (the commission lists the available single subject credentials on its website and that one is not there)???

Why did he lie?
