But, if they had the same father, you can compare the Y chromosome.

If he was as stupid as to stay put when he knew we were heading his direction he deserves getting Jdamnized. By now every single one of them should be out of there or underground.

Shouldn't he now be known as Saddam's "Half over here, half over there" brother.

I've never heard of that method of performing DNA testing, but then again I'm not a DNA expert.

How many relatives does this son of a bitch have?

Pretty much the whole city of Tikrit for starters.

Low cost? I understand that each kit sells for over $20K(US).

Satalite controled BOMB. Ka Boom!

Almost right, the GPS satellites merely send out signals that allow the GPS reciever on the bomb (actually on the guidance kit attached to the bomb) to determine where it is, and how it's moving. The guidance unit on the bomb then steers the bomb to where it "wants to go". That is where the flight crew of the aircraft dropping the bomb has told it to go. In this case right up Saddam's brother's kilt.

Maybe just a teeny bit of an overkill!

Nah, just extra insurance. :) Maybe Saddam was visiting his brother? We can only hope, the sucker has to be hiding somewhere. Assuming it's not in that smoking hole near the "upscale" restarant. (Note to self: be careful where you go out to eat, and note who else eats there and most especially who their enemies might be)

If they had the same mother then the mitochondrial DNA will allow for a match. Not so if they shared the same father, IIRC.

Same father is a MUCH more likely situtation in that society. Remember, muslims are allows 4 wives, IF they can support them. (Any other women in their households and beds are mere concubines, of which they can aparently have an unlimited number. Osama BL was, IIRC, the son of one of his father's concubines, a low status sort of thing to be)
