Of course a democrat will complain about spending - when it is in the name of national defense. They rejoice in spending in an uninhibited manner when it's for handouts, bribes, and election buying. Only national defense gets budgetary restraint from RATS.

That is so true. When have the 'rats ever thought about costs for anything? Now they're concerned! I'd rather have my money spent on defense & military that the dozens of useless social programs out there.

As the Preamble states: "PROVIDE for the common defense...and PROMOTE the general welfare." Liberals seem to have gotten this backward.
