Very true. The Hispanics are actually being integrated just as quickly as were the Irish, Germans, etc.

Just a couple of days ago, the Iman of Ottawa declared that it was just to go to Iraq and kill Americans.

In his "official pronouncement," he did say that Canadian Muslims should not kill Americans on American soil... but one wonders what he would say off the record.

My how times have changed. Once there were popes that would stand up to the evil of Islam. If the Islamists werent raping and plundering the holy lands we wouldnt have launched crusades.... But anyway, once they would fix the problem, now they are content to ask people to skip a meal to share the suffering of the muslems during Ramadan.

Mon Dieu!

We don't really think the frogs are actually going to get their come-uppance here do we? Please. Chirac will be dumped and disgraced and the real bastards, the french, will go right on with their duplicity and debauchery in the full good graces of the Real World Order ... as if nothing ever happened.

And thousands of Francophone African "refugees" are pouring into Ontario and Quebec. But don't tell the socialist Canafrancians this. They'll just call you a Canada basher.

ISSUE:  Should France, Germany, and other "axis of weasels"
countries receive taxpayer dollars to help with the rebuilding
of Iraq?

We don't think they should... and many in Congress apparently
agree.

U.S. Reps. George Nethercutt (R-WA) and Mark Kennedy (R-MN)
introduced an amendment recently to the FY 2003 supplemental
spending bill that would insure that American taxpayer dollars
will not be spent to contract with firms in France, Germany,
Russia and Syria for the rebuilding of Iraq. The measure
passed by voice vote.

"This amendment sends a signal to our allies that we appreciate
those who support us in our time of need and remember those
that have sought to thwart coalition efforts to defeat Saddam
Hussein's regime," Nethercutt said. "The coalition of the
unwilling should not participate in reconstruction with U.S.
tax dollars."

Unfortunately, this amendment was already defeated before in
the Appropriations Committee, and it could still be removed
when the bill goes to a conference committee with the Senate.
We need to make SURE that NO taxpayer money should go to
anyone in the "coalition of the UNwilling!"

ACTION ITEM: "This is an important step," said Rep. Kennedy.
"As we move forward, we must look for ways to help reward those
who stood with America in liberating the Iraqi people."

"Partnership requires a willingness to jointly shoulder the
burdens of international leadership," Rep. Nethercutt stated.
"If other nations are willing to join with the Coalition of
the Willing, as equal partners, their support will be welcomed.
But those that seek to undercut the Coalition at every turn
should understand that our patience is not unlimited."

Go to the site below to send all of your Congressmen a personal
message, asking them to support the Kennedy-Nethercutt amendment
to prevent those who opposed us most vigorously in the war to
liberate Iraq from getting taxpayer dollars:

know that wants to make sure that no "axis of weasels" governments,
like France and Germany, will receive taxpayer dollars to help
with the rebuilding of Iraq. Thank you!

There's a distinction to be made here. The Christian Africans integrate themselves just as well as do any other immigrant group.

The Hispanics are actually being integrated just as quickly as were the Irish, Germans, etc.

You're speaking directly from your anal orifice. Your profile doesn't show what state you're from, but I can tell it's not Texas, Florida, California, or any other border state.

Your statement gets "Horse$*** Quote of the Day" award.

If you lived in Florida, you would change that tune quickly.

No luck yet. The market is way down. I think more of these people need to experience the pains Florida is enduring absorbing all of the illegals from Mexico. Central Florida (in the ag areas) looks like Nuevo Laredo or worse in some places.

Your venomous tone masks your lack of historical perspective. You should read about how millions of Americans worried that the Germans, Irish, Slavic, Jewish, etc. immigrants were not assimilating into American society. In fact, a major political party -- the Know-Nothings of the 1850s -- was founded upon fear that the Irish and Germans were not assimilating. The measure to watch is whether US-born children of Hispanic immigrants learn English. The answer to that is definitely YES.

As in France, our problem is that we are not having enough children, creating a vaccumm that the immigrants are filling. The difference is that our immigrants are assimilating relatively -- repeat, relatively -- well. The immigrants in France are Moslems who hate France.

I'd be glad to continue this dialog, but only if you refrain from using insults.

"The measure to watch is whether US-born children of Hispanic immigrants learn English. The answer to that is definitely YES."

That's very true. New immigrants, especially, WANT their kids to learn English and to succeed.

The lure of the U.S. is too strong, we can't stop immigration. The key is to ensure that immigrants from the South are invested in American culture. Make the majority disagree with the La Raza types.
