04-10-03- Well, it appears that the message is getting across that the majority of Americans have lost their patience with celebrities bashing our president and it's taking a toll, "We're very saddened".
Check out this story from Page Six Today- The high cost of Bush-bashing
JANEANE Garofalo's relentless bashing of President Bush might have doomed her new ABC sitcom.
Garofalo is set to play a producer of a TV newsmagazine on "Slice O'Life." But ABC has been deluged with calls and e-mails from patriotic types threatening to boycott the network and its advertisers if the sitcom gets on the schedule, reports MSNBC.com's Jeannette Walls.

She's just a tired old leftist now. Pathetic old hag in search of a cause.

At one point Wednesday morning in speaking with one of the reporters over there, Katie was asking him if he thought we got Saddam with our bombing at the restuarant. When he indicated that the Brits were saying that we missed him, she asked where he might have gone. He said he thought probably to Tirkut(sp?). She then said something like, "and then hopefully he got in to Syria." I knew she was left but that really p'd me.
Anybody have an idea how to find that clip?

Chicago-based ad agency Leo Burnett created the Lipton commercial which - unbeknownst to Lipton or the Dixie Chicks, sources say - was shot at the former Spahn Movie Ranch outside L.A., the infamous Manson family hangout. That is hilarious and macabre all at the same time...

I tried to do some searching for transcripts of her 'desecration' remarks yesterday, but couldn't find anything. Someone else can do better, I hope.

The word that best describes her begins with "C" and ends with "T". Communist? ;^)

You think she's a...
Connecticu
t?
That's kinda harsh, isn't it, dude?

I read it somewhere on FR, but I can't find it...very frustrating, I'm sorry.
To: AAABEST
But isn't that a tautology?

Actually, the Dixie Chicks did know about the Manson history... there was an FR post about it -- when they found out, they brought in a psychic or shaman to clease the evil spirits from the place before they'd do the shoot. I am not making this up.

I wonder if perhaps Katie is just so terminally, infernally stupid that she thinks "desecration" is just a synonym of "destruction."

BILL O'REILLY: If you are wrong
and if the United States and they will, this is going to happen goes in, liberates Iraq [with] people in the street, American flags, hugging our soldiers
you gonna apologize to George W. Bush?
JANEANE GARAFALO: I would be so willing to say, "I'm sorry". I hope to God that I can be made a buffoon of, that people will say, "You were wrong. You were a fatalist". And I will go to the White House on my knees on cut glass and say, "Hey, you and Thomas Friedman were right
I shouldn't have doubted you"
Calling Janeane Garafolo...

LOL...good point.
I guess it hadn't occurred to me that she could be that stupid. But we are talking about Katie Couric here, aren't we... ;-)
To: Sloth
How could anybody make this stuff up... ;-)
To: BibChr
I couldn't tell you how "taut" she is. You'll have to ask the proctologist who gave her the examination on live TV.

Complaining to NBC would work if the average NBC viewer even notices that Katie Couric is a leftist. But I don't think the average NBC viewer has that much discernment.

I'm writing them and calling them...
If I have anything to contribute to this be-hatch not getting on the air, I'll do my share.
Stay ugly, greasy, frumpy, and unemployed, Janeane...what a skank...
