I caught some of this segment.
Bill O'Reilly said that one of the winners was HILLARY ROTTEN CLINTON since she voted to support the war and then went silent for 60 days or so.
'Ol Hildabeast is positioning herself for bigger things.

I saw that segment also and just about lost it when they both said that Hilliary was the big winner.

Vice President Dick Cheney, in an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" on March 16th, said, "The read we get on the people of Iraq is there is no question but that they want to get rid of Saddam Hussein and they will welcome as liberators the United States when we come to do that."

Dick, you make a good point, but don't go overboard. That "...and I'm here to help you" is still crap, and the public still knows it. Restored faith in the civilians in control of the military (the military itself has always been held in our high regard) does not equate with restored faith in the rest of the mommy-state.

There aren't very many Iraqis welcoming us at this moment in time. It's hard to overcome 30 years of brainwashing/dictatorship.
It troubles me that that they're not so receptive to our occupational presence. I'm certain it will change with time, but I don't think that things are peachy over there right now.
To: Irish Eyes
As horrible as that sounds, I do not disagree with their assessment.

I hope you are right - but she is already starting to run to the middle.

Bush has Condi Rice to run with in 2004. Condi could also run with Colin Powell in 2008.
I would say Hillary will have slim to no chance. I don't think she will ever be forgiven for blowing Health Care and keeping those proceedings so secreat then complaining when Cheeny kept the Oil Proceedings far less Secreat. We still know very little about who participated in Hilliary's Health Care Meetings.

Isn't is ironic that the US won the war but American liberals lost the war? When do the treason trials start?

The Distrust of our U.S. Government...has now turned all the way over to where someone's saying 'I'm from the U.S. Government' really means something GOOD to the American People." I'm not sure I'd go that far...
