I do believe that President Bush put our bomb making plants to work 24/7 after 9-11.
To: RightFighter
Kondracke is a good reporter. Not EVERYONE has to be conservative to report the news. Some people, and I think Kondracke is one of them, actually try to remain unbiased.
Man....These propaganda posts look like DUhhh sometimes. Not EVERYTHING is a conspiracy against conservatives.
To: GBTexan
Before everyone starts falling over backwards to Freep Kondracke (heh) he has, on several instances, lambasted the Clinton administration and liberals.Of course he has. But for reasons of spreading propaganda (embarrassing to us all, just like the whacked-out liberals who scream "RIGHT WING MEDIa"), we can't mentioin any of that.

Got news for you Jasper, these weapon already existed before Klinton!

Since X42 left office he has done everything he could to undermine President Bush both on domestic and foreign fronts. That voids any legitimate credit he sould ever get.

The only weapon clinton ever developed was the STEALTH CIGAR.
To: RightFighter
we heard the same nonsense in GW 1 about 'carter' helping develop weapons that won that war. Nonsense.
The weapons were developed by Boeing, Northrup-Grumman, Lockheed, etc.
What did Clinton really do? downsize the military, put it through social engineering experiments and throw it into many operations.

"...and I guess even Bill Clinton deserves some of the credit for building these weapons that have been used to liberate Iraq."My first thought upon hearing that was that the DOD deserves credit for surviving the Clintons.

You mean the Slick Sick.....that claimed his "Cabinet looks like America"...Yeah, the one that contained 14 lawyers and 10 millionaires.
Or the guy who argued in court that Paula Jones's sexual harassment lawsuit should be postponed until he left office....cause he is on "active duty"...as the Commander-in-Chief"..!! You mean that guy???

Let's calm down. Kondrake was stating what he believed to be a fact that Clinton had approved a weapon system. What's wrong with that? For all the bad that Clinton was, he wasn't as bad as Carter who was even worse. Carter would have prayed over the matter.

I like Mort. He is the Yang to Fred's Ying. If Fred had of been there he would have scolded Mort. Mort is a decent person, read his book about his wife.
Why must we make everyone evil that doesn't agree 100% ? He says some pretty honest things for a liberal and at least admits it(or looks guilty) when Fred points out when he is wrong. I like him much better than Colmes.
We need debate, and just for the record I like Mort.I don't like these guys.
To: RightFighter
"Fred wasn't on tonight....."That explains it all. Fred has a way of keeping Mort in line, I guess he kicks him in the shins under the desk!

We should not be deceived the military
still needs building up after a decade of
hammering.
We need to get ready for a war with the likes
of China.
The "clean war" tatics need to abandoned
we do not need to learn the false lesson
that it is ok to restrict our targets etc...
in order to fight a "clean war" than
nonsense will get a lot of Americans killed
in a war with the likes of China.
We also need to reject the liberal spin that
the war proves its ok to keep on feminizing
the military.
Just because the liberals are wrong,
does not mean everything is ok.
Just because the liberals are wrong
does not prove that Republican
line is totally right
just that the faults are not ones
that the liberals would ever bring
up.
We can be happy than Saddam is overthrown
and still call for further improvement in
our policies.
Above all else protect our borders
and kick all the illegals out.

Anyone who's watched Kondracke knows he needs to be disciplined- for one thing, he never shuts up. He talks over everyone else, including the moderator, Hume. He refuses to be interrupted, even after speaking well past the allotted time. He stutters constantly which only exacerbates his minutes-long monologues. I don't know why they don't have Bill Sammon of the Washington Times on the show more instead.
To: RightFighter
Did I miss something during Clintoon's time in office? I thought he was busy porking interns, and I had no idea that he was hard at work building missiles that would one day be used to liberate Iraq.I thought Algore invented missiles.

Democrats building weapons - you have got to be kidding.
As far as smart weapons systems the Democrats never met a weapons system they didn't hate!!

Kondrake was stating what he believed to be a fact that Clinton had approved a weapon system. What's wrong with that? Can you name a weapon system proposed or authorized by Clinton? Can you name any new weapon that was not in the pipeline before Clinton took office? Can you name anything that Clinton did to increase the effectiveness of our intelligence gathering? Can you cite anything that Clinton said to support the development of new weapons?

Got news for you Jasper, these weapon already existed before Klinton! Really, We went from Patriot (version)1 in the gulf war to Patriot (version) 3 by the end of the Bush's Presidency. That's really impressive that we could produce a second (improved) and then a third (even more improved) version of the weapon in little over a year.
To: GBTexan
I have to agree Morts a good guy,his devotion to his wife that is ill has been a touching thing to see. We'll let him slide on a silly Clinton remark.
