Adam Housley of Fox news just had a breaking story that Kuwait television is reporting that a couple of Al Jazeera reporters were chased out of Basra by an angry mob upset over how Al Jazeera has been reporting on the region. The Kuwaitis let them in in order to rescue them.

No kidding.
In case you missed it, there's Palestinians telling their kids not to even watch Arab News.. One of the disgruntled ones cited lies in Arab media back to like 1967 (I think it was 67..) and said you just can't believe them anymore.
All their propaganda is coming home to roost now in the age of communication. They are freezing themselves right out of their own market with this crap.

LOL--good one. I just got home, and am trying to catch up on today's events via FR and Fox. What a DAY! This event alone is just wildly delicious--Jazeera run out of town on a rail!

Yeah, no doubt. Also - I cannot wait to see what President Bush does for the New World Order. I have some thoughts on where to start... (Disbanding the U.N. and creating a new body dedicated to the REAL betterment of the world.)

It is time for the Jaazera Jokers to repent. So should CNN. And Katie Couric too, who did nothing but bash Bush for "doing nothhing about the Palestinians" during the statue pull-down this am. She and Brokow sounded annoyed and depressed about this ultra-historical moment and were practically blaming Bush's Mideeast policy for terrorism. Did anyone else hear this garbage? It was outrageous!
Only Russert chiming in remining them that ARAFAT (duh!) was why Bush didn't deal with the PLO ended their whining. This would never occur to Couric or Brokaw who presumably see Arafat as a Nobel Prize-winning "peacemaker". Sickening liberal bias.

Last night an Abu Dhabi Tv reporter and an Al Jazeera reporter were making some pretty incredible claims about things our troops said to them. They had no proof, and nothing to back it up with. It was PURE propanda by these two reporters. It was regarding the Jordanian reporter who was killed. Bob Simon from 60 Mins II, was frothing at the mouth too. You could feel his disdain for this country. I wrote him an e-mail.. and I saved it. Though you and I know he will never acknowledge it, nor will anyone from CBS.
The program was on Larry King live. I know, I know.. I normally don't watch CNN, but I've been peeking in to see if they are still anti-American, and I see there still are.
Anyway.. this thread made me remember the program last night on Larry King Live. (3/8/03)

I know how they feel...I'd like to punch out a NY Times reporter right now. (gasp! violence on FR!)

Nowhere to run...nowhere to hide. They better get their lying asses back to Quatar asap and crawl under the Sheik or Sultan's robes and STFU.

"I saw this and was overwhelmed with pride of the liberated Iraqi's. I started thinking, "What if the new Iraqi government decides not to do business with France, Russia, Germany, et. al.?" Those Iraqi's are smart people. Watch. " I wouldn't get to excited. Most of us have more common sense than our politicians, they probably won't be any different.

Wait a minute. Baghdad Bob and Carville are on the same side. That's not a problem on the Communist News Network, or Pravda West.

Good one, DA.
Will they stone or shoe them to death?! :~)

"I wouldn't get to excited."The Iraqis, like the recently liberated nations of Europe (Romania, Poland, etc.), will become one of our best friends.
They will singlehandedly convince other Muslim countries that they were all duped.
Watch for the internal fall of Iran next.
