Sounds like enough hardware to go to Damascus or Teheran, doesn't it?

The Defense Department will have to hold them back from invading Turkey, they are probably so mad at them for keeping the 4th ID out of war.

And a damn good thing too, General McCaffery, General Zini, Brent Scowcroft and the entire Democrat Party are sure this will solve the quagmire problem.

I suspect we'll be seeing the 4th ID in and around Tikrit.

Never heard much out of these guys, were there "embeds" with 'em while they chewed up the wallpaper with frustration? There'd be a story there, thousands of p#ssed-off troops. I can hear the razzing they'll have to take..."Hey guys, sorry you missed it..."

Isn't this the Ironhorse division ?

You just reminded me. This pause we have been taking in the "Quagmire" is sure taking a long time.

The 4th will probably end up in the north. I'd sure hate to be the first Turk to miscaculate and step too far over the border.
"Hi! Remember me? You guys left us bobbing about in the Med last month? I've been wanting to meet you, ever since the Dramamines ran out...."

Excellent, now point the 4th ID in the direction of Iran.
To: csmusaret
Yeah, the Iraqi "freedom fighters" have interdicted our lines of communication. A hopeless situation.
