It's real. I saw these two guys come walking down the street today carrying this sign on FoxNews, pass through the Marine perimeter and into the crowd.

Plenty of Iraqis are well educated ... some of them over here before 1990.

I'd guess the British - "wanker" is a decidedly British term. You'll also note that the banner appears to be a "www.humanshields.org" website banner, presumably appropriated from the shields themselves, folded over at the ends.

Start rummaging through threads from Wednesday or so -- there's another pic somewhere where these guys are whooping it up with our troops a couple of seconds taken before or after this one was. That shows that it is indeed the HS that should go, not the U.S.

For other posters, "wanker" is British slang for masturbator; usually it implies stupid thoughts or pointless actions.
