I really wish they would show who are asking the dumb questions because there are a lot of them. Rumsfeld just said ask one question and not two or three.
The press doesn't sound pleased to me so far in this briefing -- more antagonistic from what I have heard so far.
Rumsfeld just said we are in the process of trying to liberate the Country and are not looking for WMD's. These reporters are idiots -- still waiting for a very good question.

I was WAITING for this moment since before the war began.
UN, Kofi, Clinton/DNC, Chirac, Putin, Schroeder, etc., will be brougth up on war crimes involving fraud, conspiracy, money laundering, torture, murder, etc.,
All under the guise of the UN's "Food for Oil" program.

I would put it this way:
Don't F*** with Dubya.
Too many people have underestimated the man. Ask OBL, the Taliban, Tommy D., Saddam, etc.
To: winner3000
He doesn't suffer fools easily and he's sick and tired of their BS, blame-America questions. Go, Rummy!!!!!!!!!!

Reporter just asked -- What about Saddam Hussein? Rumsfeld: Exactly what is it that you are interested in? Saddam is dead, injured, or cowering someplace in a tunnel. Time will tell!
Saturday Night Live should have a ton of material from this one!

What about Saddam Hussein?
Who knows? .. Time will tell. The regime is toppled, that's the main goal.
Thanks, Rummy!

Here's an idea to someone who has the time and talent...
Write a book called...
"STUPID PRESS QUESTIONS"

"He even smacked down Brett Baier" No kidding. You have to admit, though, there are better questions to ask -- today -- than "Do you think Saddam is alive/was killed?" No reporter is going to get a "yes" or "no" answer to such a question.

Secretary Rumsfeld is referring to this day as the Liberation of Baghdad while still saying there will be fights ahead.
Where do they find these idiots that ask the questions? I really would like to know just who is asking them. Now some idiot wants to know if this war is going to cause more Arabs to come after America. Rumsfeld taking him on! US is not going to occupy Iraq! We are there to help the Iraqi's not take over their country.
Maybe our next target should be the press corps of the DoD and White House!

You are right! "Stupid Press Question" book would be easy to write after watching the DoD and White House press briefings -- a chapter a day!

Redefining the term "Rummy" Good point!
Now, if someone calls me a "Rummy," I'll stand a little straighter, brush down my shirt, and say, "Well, thank you! Thank you very much!"

This is great! His look at the press when they ask their idiotic questions is priceless.
Reporters who have been embedded have got to have seen young people well trained and in a professional manner. Will come back and tell the people the truth!

HAHAHA I'm trolling a libby discussion right now and this is all they have to say about Rummy's current speech...
Demency - April 9, 2003 at 12:52:08 pm - 65.25.241.123
[Rumsfeld] Suffer a painful death, you condescending arrogant prick.
It seems the libby's are irrate today. They have no idea on how to react to things today except for their misguided slander.
It is apparent with the lefty press too. What whining is there to do next? *ducking*

Guliani-Rumsfield in 2008. I'll write it in if I have to
How about the part where they were trapping him into saying that since we were successful the gauntlet had been thrown down (they make mini speeches, these pretentious jerks)which country would we invade next, Syria or Iran?
He just said, "we haven't thrown down any gauntlet." I love how he sees right through their designs.
God Bless Rumsfield, I pray for him every night since McCafrey & the Times went after him. My prayers have been answered; Victory!
