One other observation: the DU types are REALLY the all-time candidates for TinFoilHat medallion winners.

Conspiracy theories shine through almost every one of those posts--"staging," "CIA," "men only," "only really FIT men," etc., etc.

I've been checking out a couple DU threads today on what would be considered good news in Iraq. They're like parrots over there. Everything good that happens is staged and propoganda (with the subtle references to the Nazis' use of propoganda). The unanimity of opinion there is stifling.

Ok, I admit it, I went to DU for the first time just now. Its pretty funny, although I must give credit to SOME posters there who see the truth (stealth freepers?).

That's my guess. To be honest, it is kind of suspicious that the vast majority of the people taking a more moderate stance have 10 posts or less at DU.
