A Jewish carpenter dying for me|you would accomplish exactly nothing.
He never claimed that He was a Jewish carpenter, but that He was the Son of Man. By itself that does not avail; the vital essential is that He also claimed to be the Son of God.
That is the choke point for those who elevate humanity.
