ELON, N.C. -- Former CBS news anchorman Walter Cronkite called President George W. Bush "grossly arrogant" for invading Iraq without the approval of the United Nations.
Walter Cronkite appeared Tuesday at Elon University for a news conference and a taped conversation with David Gergen, a former presidential adviser.

On NBC Tom Brokaw and Katie Couric were side-by-each at the desk reporting on the freedom of Iraq this morning. Tom informed the viewers and Katie that he had to "bail out and go to a studio across the street".
Katie responded, "was it something I said?"
Tom replies, "where do I begin."
Katie: "ouch"
