This was a post I found at DU.
6. not to sound heartless, but I never feel a twinge of sadness when I hear of missionaries being slaughtered in other countries (like last year in Indonesia, for example). What the hell do these people think they're getting themselves into? Some missionaries are so goddamned selfish, it makes me feel SICK!

That quote from the DU poster confirms to me that these protester types are not just protesting war, but are protesting life itself. I was once an angry young man who was looking for my own way to put the world on its head, but then I grew up.
Makes me wonder just what has happened to the Hollywood crowd. Obviously maturity isn't part of their experience.

Ugh.
Reminds me why I sprayed Lysol into the air the last time I went there...
I went there and saw a thread about how evil the military is.
(I was in field artillery.)
And was very tempted to flame the lot of them for their idiocy.
Someone else beat me to it.
Then I read another post there and found that no matter what I or anyone else said, they'd still see things their own twisted way and feel victimised by 'the man' for being exposed as idiots.
