I'd like to know if there's a difference in former East German support for this action from West Germans...
To: legman
thank you legman.....my husband and I both have teared up...it's so emotional...we are watching history.
But beyond that...this moment is validation for PResident Bush, Tommy Franks, and even for us, those who supported this humanitarian effort, and this war to protect our country from the evil of Saddam Hussein.
It's also a moment to relish, Thinking of the far left Anti war, anti American, anti Bush demonstrators and how low they must be waking up today. And LOLROTFPIMP asking, "Where's General McCaffrey this morning?"
God Bless America!
And I make a prediction. We won't see President Bush out taking self-congratulatory bows or hogging the limelight for this.

That rope looks like it's been rotting in somebody's basement for 20 years or so. That is NOT going to do the job.
Hey, Ali, ya got any logging chain?

Tom Brokaw live on NBC says these television images are being broadcast live on Al jazeera, Egyptian, and all Arabic television.
Tim Russert says this moment is "the tipping point". He says this statue we are waiting to see fall, was built to honor Saddam's upcoming 65th birthday.
NBC flips to a big building burning on a top floor, or maybe the roof. I don't know more than the sight of it. Maybe it's a building on Baghdad University where the marines have been engaged in a fierce fight for a few hours. Martin Savage of CNN is with that particular unit.

I stay away from that cess pool known as DU(h). Everytime I see some of their pathetic drivel ... I find myself wishing for the hacker skill to find out where some of those idiots live so I could confront them in person ... (and slap the sh!t out of them)

CBS asking why it took 21 days of fighting before the people of Iraq would pull down the statue. They just don't get it!
To: clamper1797
The DUpers awful misery on this day of rejoicing is truly something to behold.
To: AnAmericanMother
They could tie thr rope to the large shackle and cable they have around the ankle, the pull the cable up around the neck.
To: clamper1797
What's the URL for this "DU" site? I would like to gloat over their misery :-)
