News organizations demanded answers from the United States yesterday after U.S. fire killed three journalists in Baghdad.

Journalists from Reuters news agency, Spain's Telecinco and Arab TV channel al-Jazeera died after a U.S. tank fired on a hotel packed full of journalists, and airstrikes hit Jazeera's offices, prompting calls for an investigation.

When the press expresses more outrage over journalists who could have walked away from the firing than they do over what happened to executed American soldiers, you know exactly where their priorities are.

The pathetic behavior of the press through much of this war has made the impossible possible: I loath the media even more than I did.

And another one! Something to the effect of since the press are here at the Palestine Hotel is it going to be declared a 'historic' site (to prevent further fire) or some such.

Let me see if I understand ... US tanks aimed at a hotel "packed" with journalists ... and killed only three of them. No wonder Saddam was making fun of our army.
