I just sent an email to CBS to tell (Ahmed) thank you from the members of Free Republic. No, I didn't tell them the name that we call him, only that we had "named" him.

Just saw Akmed on the lawn praying on the CBS bagcam, but he's gone now

I sent an email a couple of weeks ago, too. Asked CNN to have their correspondent go to the Not-Light cam when Baghdad was free and seek out the men tending the camera. I told them we'd named him Achmed, I think, but it was a nice note.

Only problem, even if they did, I wouldn't see it unless they sent me a notice. I NEVER watch CBS.
