I'm becoming more and more convinced that Saddam bought it in that restaurant-bomb.
All the Baathist authorities cleared out the very night after the bombing. Word is leaking out that there've been NO intelligence intercepts since then.
I mean, he may still be crawlin' around the Baghdad sewars like the rat he is, but my conclusion is: that's partly his dust we see blowing by the BagCam.
I sure hope I'm right.

I think you may be right, too. The DOD waited a full 24 hours after that strike before releasing that info with a TON of info about how it happened. Within 24 hours things changed and people started coming out. We'll eventually see someday.
