We should shake the hand of every marine, and military soldier the U.S. has abroad and in this great country of ours. They are the true freedom fighters and reason we have our peace, our liberty, and our freedom.

God Bless America

If I may suggest...

Not all of us live near a military base where we can stand outside the gates with a sign of support. Most do, however, live near a Recruiting Station.

Take the time to stop by and offer a word of thanks to those folks. Most of them as well as our first responders never hear a word of thanks (I understand they like Krispy Kremes, too). (^:

I hear ya Dave, just a simple "thank you" or an offering of food does a world of good and I think the Military is being shown as the true heroes they are. Thanks to Tori Clarks brilliant idea of placing journalist equipped with satellite phones with the troops, the entire world is witnessing just how brave and honorable our troops are, They sure give us a lot to be proud of.

God Bless our Troops

Yesirreeeee Dave!

My daughter and I visit recruiters once a week, delivering goodies of some type. This week it's brownies. They love it and sooooo appreciate the thought and caring gesture.
