President Bush ended his visit to Northern Ireland today as he met one last time with British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern. The war in Iraq was still the focus of their meeting, particularly the question of whether or not Saddam Hussein is still alive after coalition forces used four bunker buster bombs on a restaurant where Hussein was alleged to be. Discussions also took place regarding post war Iraq and the evolving Mideast peace plan. President Bush returned to the White House late this afternoon. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Thank you both extremely much. I will tell Mike. I know he will feel the effects of your prayers. His mom had written that she has that "perfect peace" that passes all understanding, but, azgopgal, you're right -- the chemo is brutal. It sounds like she's got a huge dose due to the type of tumor.

The French and Germans probably play the game BATTLESHIPS because they don't have a real naval fleet.
Chirac: "B-2"
Shroeder: "Dammit! You sunk my battleship!"

I believe Bush made Tony realize that now that the war was such a great success, Tony had a lot of political capital he could use - which mean't Tony had to rely on UN less. I'm guessing - but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm right.
And ... I don't think either one of them were anxious to be stabbed in the back by Chirac any more.
I'm not happy about the big 4 meeting this coming weekend. Chirac, Schroeder, Putin and Annan are meeting. These people cannot be up to anything but trouble.

I don't know what's average for chemo or how much it actually varies for different types of cancer, but 6 hrs of chemo for 18 weeks just sounds so physically and emotionally draining. I'm glad she is at peace, but I hope she has the strength to make it through all that chemo.

Keep your ear pealed - if you hear anything, ping me please! Thanks!

He'd have to be a loony if he thinks Bush should be impeached. Let me guess, impeachment on the grounds of war crimes.

She has one six-hour treatment at a time, once every three weeks, for a total of six treatments in 18 weeks. Days after a treatment she's still nauseated.

Bless her heart. Even though the chemo is spread out, it still seems very daunting. It looks like she's got a good family to lean on, especially Mike and the Lord.

You got it! And ... there is a dem congressperson who is helping the general. Can't remember who it is; but it's one of the usual dem characters.
To: SevenofNine
You're right - very interesting?
To: SevenofNine
Well ... they can meet all they want, but that doesn't mean we have to involve them in reconstruction of Iraq. They're just mad because they broke all the rules and did business with Saddam; and now that he's been taken out - they are out of their precious contracts - which were illegal to begin with. They're just whining because they didn't get their way. If they aren't careful, we'll pull out of the UN, and take our $900 million with us. If they think the UN is so great - let them support it for awhile.

They behave like a room full of toddlers having a major hissy fit temper tantrum. Guess Daddy Bush is going to have to give them another spanking. :-)

I have been thinking - why on earth would they choose the gulf - isn't it far away from their countries ...?? Do these idiots think they can hassle our ships - will we block them out of the gulf ...??
