Naked women, transvestites, dogs, dancers, singer Harry Belafonte and others joined Rep. Barbara Lee, California Democrat, for an antiwar protest Saturday to "praise the patriotism of the demonstrators and condemn the military action in Iraq," the Oakland Tribune reported yesterday.

At the DC Chapter's FReep of the Code Pinkos protest of Fox News last week, the UPI reporter asked: "Do you think that the peace movement serves any useful purpose?"

"No," was my first response. Thinking better of it, I added, "I guess they do provide comic relief."

(Unfortunately, the UPI guy did not include that in his story.)

This story provides another example of the comic relief.

The lamestream media will constantly say that the peace protestors are "mainstream" people. Don't believe it.

There are some regular soccer moms and their men in the peace movement, but many peace protestors (and certainly their leaders) are so far outside the mainstream that they are from another planet.

"We denounce governments that act with tyranny," Mr. Belafonte told the crowd. "We are here to tell Nancy Pelosi to stop playing the game. We are losing our dignity and honor as a people."

After this demonstration I would say, Mr. Belafonte, you are correct.

Somebody get a tent for this circus they call the Democrat Party.

From the article:
Ironically, there were costumed superheroes in battle gear, too, including warrior princess Xena, Catwoman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman and Robin Hood — along with a performing Middle Eastern dance troupe. Vendors sold organic vegan snacks, jewelry, Malcolm X books, peace T-shirts, antiwar pins and voodoo dolls on the City Hall steps. [end quote]

Where are the puppets? There should be puppets.

Never mind, it's all a mistake. It was just a run-of-the-mill Clinton party. Cigars were available to all and there was plenty of moonshine.

Anyone want to wager whether there were Y chromosomes under those Xena, Catwoman, and Wonder Woman costumes?

Mrs. Lee told the crowd to "take back the U.S. House of Representatives, Senate and White House"

And she is yelling this to a bunch of queers, fruits, half-wits and perverts?
