Bose Corporation supports our country, especially in this time of conflict. We support the American flag and the demonstration of that flag. There is no policy against the display of the American flag. Bose is an American company and proud of it
There were decisions made at the local level to take the flag down in isolated Bose stores. This was a mistake and will be addressed. As a company, we fly the flag at all times at our office buildings, and many employees display the flag in their work stations.

I was on the verge of purchasing their home theater sound system a few days ago for my TV room when I read the original story here on FreeRepublic, and sent them a email expressing my feelings and intention to go another direction. Well, after getting the same assurances (email response) from them, I decided to go ahead with Bose. Good stuff though it is expensive.

COOL! But Bose is still way overpriced. If you like style, then yea, Bose is it.
If you want the same or better quality, check out Cambridge Soundworks or Klipsch.
Do yourself a favor though, and go the audiophile route: Paradigm, Thiel, etc. They are affordable if you buy them used from E-Bay or Audiogon.com .

Now they need to restore their advertising on Rush Limbaugh's radio show. And lowering their prices would be good too.

I have two Bose products (Wave Radio CD and 3-2-1 Home Theater System) and my parents have three (Accoustic Wave Machine, Wave Radio and Surround Sound Speakers on a Sony processor).
I am duly impressed with these products and feel that I paid the right price for what I got. Their customer service is outstanding. I know there are other great products out there and probably at a lower cost, but I think it's like cars...people like what they like.

A caller to G. Gordon Liddy show today, said he was an employee of Bose (on his lunch break), and said BOSE corporate has ordered all flags, and flag related decorations taken down from all stores so as not to offend customers!!! Caller said one employee refused and quit.
Has anyone else heard about this???
