I never hanged any of my action figures, but I did put drinking glasses on top of them and pretended various gases were being pumped in to the "chamber." Drinking glasses were also great teleportation chambers. My favorite part about GI Joe was the fact that they started the animated ninja phenomenon with Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. I don't know much about anime, but I'm not even sure anime ninjas existed before that cartoon series.

The noose was kinda like a 'warning' to would be terrorists.
(Hey, it was kinda fun to make one.)
I always froze them in water ala Han Solo in Emoire Strikes back.
"You have angered me!" (Freezer door slams)
I'm not sure ninjas existed outside of GI Joe before, either.
'Course, I'm not well versed in anime.
But those were the days.
Especially when one's sister was a tomboy who egged one on with statements like, 'Freeze him, AGAIN!' and borrowed above mentioned noose for her Ken doll. (?)
No, not sure why she did that.
I'm afraid she grew up being treated as a little brother.
Would explain why she chased that boy around with a frog back in the third grade or so.
