I have a dialup and the CBS cam linked from the Realplayer has been working OK, the video is blocky most of the time but when its on the sound is great, its the one I mostly leave on, it helps to stop it about every hour or two and reload, and its better if your puter has good memory cause it can be difficult to make a posting and having to wait for the main page to reload especially when somebody posts an animated GIF file or large JPG's. I can make the CBS go full theatre but not MSNBC its still just a little window.

But is very interesting in what would be done though, calling up the NG after the riots start after a bomb or nasties get dropped. That's one of my main concerns, the riots start in the big cities then the domino effect

The CBS BagCam (encoded at roughly 150 Kbps) ought to work reliably (at least it does for me). I'd have to say that there's a lot of your neighbors that also have cable broadband for the CBS BagCam to not run reliably.
