The bunker buster bombs are 2000 pounds not 5000. MSNBC Pentagon reporter is reporting four 2000 pound bunker buster bombs were used.

We don't have a 5000 pound bunker buster bomb. The 5000 bomb would not be used in a residential area.

From Washington: Senate Majority Leader Dashale stated that he was very concerned and deeply saddened by these acts of agression by the administration. The Senator looked deeply concerned and excused himself immediately. When asked about his immediate departure an unnamed aide stated that the Senator had a bad case of the "hershey squirts" and was having an imodium moment. It was reported that the Senator did run into the Senate men's room, closely followed by Senator Clinton, the junior Senator from New York, and Senator Edward Kennedy carrying a bottle of single malt scotch, the brand could not be determined. Yeah, the story thus far seems to be "We bombed a site where we kinda think maybe sorta Saddam coula been at the time." I'll wait for some outside confirmation first.

I don't understand why, if Saddam has BILLIONS to build underground complexes hundreds of yards underground with tens of miles of interconnecting tunnels, how is it that he is "seen" entering a "residence" for a meeting. Doesn't pass the smell test IMO.

Yes, so we've narrowed this down to three possibilities... Saddam may have been killed today. Then again, he may have been killed earlier. Then again, he may still be alive. Film at 11.

There is more.. Saddam died of cancer in '98. They kept him alive via video tape and body doubles since then.

Same here. I'm worn out with so many "maybe", possibly, think so," etc. same with the found caches of WMD, only to turn around and they say, "not sure. Or "no." If msnbc has this wrong, they'll have a lot of egg to wash off their faces. Beginning with Andrea Mitchell.

As you probably know by now, FNC and CNN are now reporting this also. More channels of "maybe", "reason to believe", "tips that led them to believe", "there is a belief now among many senior US officials..."

That said, I sure hope it IS true!
