To refuse the MARK and die for allegiance to God is one type of ticket to a great eternity.

To take the MARK and become eternal bedpartners with satan doesn't sound like fun.

But God will have to be a pretty high priority given no ability to buy or sell without the MARK.

And how is this a bad thing? I didn't say it was. Nor do I believe this particular type of implementation is a bad thing. There are, however, many privacy advocates who believe this is stepping onto a slippery slope.

9A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, 10he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name." Revelation 14:9-11
Biometrics is no more the mark of the beast than fingerprinting. There is no mark made on your hand, head, foot or behind. It justs records measurements of your hand (joint positions, finger lengths, fingerprints, ect) on your Drivers License; making it harder for someone to steal your identity.

I'm not worried that I'm carrying the mark around in my pocket on my driver's license.
But I'm also not the least bit in doubt that it's the first stages of the slippery slope.
