Let's hope that they show more gratitude down the road for our brave soldiers' blood than the French have shown.

We need to avoid too much wishfull thinking. The three major factions will be at each other's throats within a week. Ask any cop what it's like dealing with domestic disputes.

Russian news sources have reported that the Hussein government of Iraq will be recognized by Russia and the United Nations so long as the rent is paid.

(Satire!)

This effort by our American president and our troops is a real refreshing, long needed breath of fresh air for the world. A leader with conviction to mean what he say's and say's what he means has been long needed.

UN diplomats and other world leaders have put this world in peril by their endless diplomatic babble which results in disaster. The only benefit of such UN babble has been to enrich the same global diplomatic thugs thru the cover of negotiation and resolutions, all the while killing and torturing those who cannot defend themselves.

I am no great Bush lover. I see this Bush's actions motivated by the guilt of his fathers failings. His fathers example of force with diplomacy and lawyers calling the shots caused the deaths of thousands of Iraqi's and the horror endured after the Gulf WarI. It emboldened Saddam and in the Arab world, a leader left standing is a winning leader.

I am looking forward to Bush II taking on the economy, SEC, DNC, Senate, and IRS/Tax issues with the same enthusiasm and guilt he carries from his predicessors of both parties.

Maybe they are going to use an old Nazi method of hanging people. They might be going to use the piano wire to hang Republican Guards and Fedayeen. Saddam would approve, wouldn't he?? After all, Hitler was one of his heroes.

"The looting concerns me. What we don't want is for this to become a "have vs. have not" conflict. If it does, then that will negatively affect the Iraqi administration to follow because they will be regarded as the "haves."

It's been a "have vs. have not" conflict for 30 years. The "have nots" are finally getting what the "haves" had had for years.

Urgent request to CENTCOM:

Please conquer all of Iraq except for 1 building...Bahgdad Bob's broadcasting center. Just think of the years of fun that we could enjoy!

Seriously, he's got to have the most frustrating job in the world. Imagine his daily pre-press conference meetings with the Iraqi leadership...

"You want me to say WHAT? Give me a break! Bullet in the head? Okay, okay."

Are Kuwaities Shi'ites or Sunni?

Sunni, die infidel!

Just read some of the Muslim Q&A sites. They have Kuwati imams giving fatwas, and they don't like Shi'ites.

It will be so funny when Daschle gives his first open question press conference in the not too distant future. It will go like this......

".......and so that is how I intend to save the world. Now are their any questions?"

"Yes Senator Daschle, this is Sam Donaldson from ABC.....Does it deeply sadden you that you have run your political carreer and that of the democrat party on goals of harm to this country and to our leaders elected as the majority is a good thing in liberal circles?"

"Sam, I am outraged at that accusation"

"Well senator, that's what I thought you might say".........Press corp rolling on floor and laughing. Helen Thomas looking confused.

A popular uprising would be the most fitting end for Saddam's ugly regime.
