A golf driving range in Wisconsin has set up an 8-foot-wide, 12-foot-tall billboard of Saddam Hussein.
The Golf Shack in De Pere set up the billboard on the 100 yard mark, reports theGreen Bay Press Gazette.
Owner Bob Kapla said the objective provides amusement to golfers gearing up for the season and to show support to US troops.
"It sounded fun, and we're always looking to put something up that our golfers can aim at anyway. This fits in with where we are as a country," Kapla said.
He said he's noticed golfers are having fun debating which iron or driver marks up Hussein's face the best.
When someone does get a direct hit, it's usually followed by loud hoots and hollers, he added.

Sounds like fun. ;)

Wrong type of range for Saddam's image!
To: George from New England
They could never do something like this in the South. Everyone would bring their gun to the driving range and blast Saddam back to Baghdad.

A 3-wood, choke up, close your grip, close your stance and place the ball well back - off your right heel. Aim about 10-12 yards to the right of Saddam's nose. A low hard hook ought to knock that sucker right over.

I've got that shot, plays good into the south Texas wind...I'll bet it would play good into Saddam's head.

Man, that's a lot of club for 100 yards. I'd use a punch 8 or a full PW.

There is a driving range about a mile from my house that has a large Osama Bin Laden target. They put it up shortly after 9/11.

Sounds like a job for my Big Big Bang 525CC. Almost as big as the REAL BIG BANG that took him out the first night of the war...

100 yards? Why waste my time with a little white ball? I can heave my pitching wedge that far. At least that way it could do me some good.

A knocked-down 3-iron should work pretty well too.

I warm up there every February before heading south for a week. The worst thing I heard about it was the owner reporting "Only a few complaints." A FEW COMPLAINTS!!! For crying out loud. I want names.

My local commercial pistol range was sold out of Usama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein targets last weekend.

Outstanding, even if I'm a day late in finding it. It's about a 2-hour road trip for me, and even though I don't play golf, I just might take it.
