I finally caught up! Just saw a scroll on the bottom of Fox about Koffi. He said that the UN would bring legitimacy to a interm government and reconstruction in Iraq...........LEGITIMACY! hahahahahaha

Who will bring legitimacy to Koffi and his band of ne'er do wells?

The battle plan:
The problem with the Iraqi army is that they were using Russian defense tactics:

1. Engage the enemy.
2. Draw him into your territory.
3. Wait until winter sets in.


The Iraqi verions of the classic army regulations can be summarized as:

1. If it doesn't move, hide behind it.
2. If it does move, surrender to it.

The French and Russians are quite desperate to regain control of the Iraqi oil fields they had under contract with Saddam. We should do everything we can to prevent that. Iraqi oil should pay for rebuilding Iraq, and also for some of the costs we incurred in the campaign. This will, I hope, be the desire of the new Iraqi government. The U.N. has proved its irrelevance. It is now up to us to enforce it.

Yep, keep the UN out of it ... with the oil alone, the Iraqi people will have more then enough money to rebuild their country

The UN kind of reminds of the Dems last year when we all got out tax rebates .. telling us to mail our rebates to their org. and they will distribute the money for us.
