But in my PhD research, I collected data on more than 1,000 variable. Only analyzed 4 of them for the PhD. On most the null hypotheses were shown to be false. The different groups were atheists/agnostics and various categories of Christians.
Really appreciate the extra effort, on your day of rest.

I have a bias that people are worth it.
I think, most of the time re the Sabbath, God shares that bias.
Of course, as one Pastor said . . .
if your cow is ALWAYS falling in the ditch on the Sabbath--requiring you to get her out of it on the Sabbath--either trade her in on a different cow or make hamburger.
Anyway--loving people on the Sabbath, is part of what God is about, IMHO.

The null hypotheses, of course, being that:
There were NO differences between the groups on the variables . . . with a 0.001 level of confidence, as I recall.
I think maybe the hypothesis about the construct systems a la George Kelly's work/grid did not show a sufficient difference to void the null hypothesis. The rest, I recall, did.
One of the other variables that did show a significant difference was on empathy as measured by the Comrey.
And I think on ORDERLINESS VS lack of compulsiveness also showed significant differences.
I forget the other variable I analyzed.
Dredging my memory is not that hard a work--given that it still works somewhat. LOL.
