Define the problem well..........I can see that metal pins with points can be a problem in a maximum security prison...... so is there a creative solution for a win/win such as sewn on patches?????????

my husband is a "correctional officer" you can't call 'em guards anymore. Anyway they all have to wear their brass and all have pin backs. I think maybe this prison is located outside the UNITED STATES. What is wrong with some idiots for heaven's sake. God bless all out troops!!!

From what limited experience I have seen, there is a lot of variation from prison to prison........I have made some assumptions to define the problem here.
