Why is MSNBC breaking all these chem stories? Why is FOX apparently behind on this? Is it just "the luck of the draw" and who happens to be with which unit when it comes across something like this?

I think it is the luck of the draw and where the embedded reporters are. Didn't Fox and Ollie North break the entry into Baghdad last night? Or did MSNBC do that to?

I think that's exactly the case. It's why FNC had the great vids of that 3rd ID battalion cruising through Baghdad this AM.

It's the luck of the draw. For instance, FOX was the first net into Baghdad as far as I could tell. Wonder if Blix's phone is ringing off the hook yet?

Fox is touting their video of the march into Baghdad. I think it's the luck of the draw, but I do enjoy channel surfing for embed reports

MSNBC does have the whole NBC worldwide news organization to draw from, which despite their political slant, is an effective and expensive news gathering organization.

JMHO, but I'm thinking that FOX tries to check, double-check & triple-check before they put something on the air --- I have heard Shep Smith say something similar before. So if one of their team wasn't with the troops that found this, FOX would try to verify it before they broadcast it.
JMHO --- I could be wrong...
