Perhaps our troops have been ordered to "blitzkrieg" Baghdad so that we could seize these weapons before they could be used against us.

2nd Battalion 8th Marines. Cache inludes Russian binary agent transfer containers, and chem/bio artillery shells.
No word if the containers or shells have agents in them.
To: SamAdams76
Actually it seems like these weapons had been identified by passing marines but they kept moving and didn't have the time to examinine them -- 120 bunkers loaded with weapons.

Yep, large stacks of what appears to be Chemical Artillery Shells, and Chemical dispensers.
Russian finger prints all over this.
Binary dispenser with Russian Cyrillic Writting on it.

Thanksf for the info - MSNBC also reported word has been received that 6 members of the Baath party were hanged by other Iraqi's in town South of Baghdad......unconfirmed. Point is that word is passing to all of the Iraq cities and towns that the Allies ARE conquering every city - and ARE turning against the Saddamites themselves! THAT MUST CONTINUE!

Why is MSNBC breaking all these chem stories? Why is FOX apparently behind on this? Is it just "the luck of the draw" and who happens to be with which unit when it comes across something like this?

I can't excited about this. Too many similar reports have fizzled.

I think it is the luck of the draw and where the embedded reporters are. Didn't Fox and Ollie North break the entry into Baghdad last night? Or did MSNBC do that to?

Yohoo! Hans! Over here.
No, look right here.
HERE!
For heaven's sake, are you blind, it's right under your nose.
You're not even trying.
To: LS
I think that's exactly the case. It's why FNC had the great vids of that 3rd ID battalion cruising through Baghdad this AM.
To: LS
It's the luck of the draw. For instance, FOX was the first net into Baghdad as far as I could tell. Wonder if Blix's phone is ringing off the hook yet?

I can't excited about this. Too many similar reports have fizzled. I don't expect they will find the nasties there either -- if they are in liquid form to be inserted into artillary shells, I would think that they will probably be in some sort of portable, transportable truck somewhere.

Fox is touting their video of the march into Baghdad. I think it's the luck of the draw, but I do enjoy channel surfing for embed reports
