Arabs, literally crying in tears before the camera--because allied soldiers are "searching our women, touching their very skin!" Certainly not something that our GIs want to do.

Yep. It's so much easier to be a suicide bomber when the target is a busload of women and kids.

I hope they have rubber gloves

These dickheads are finding out that it is different to be a homicide bomber when the target shoots back, eh?Yeah, they left that part out of the "How to be a suicide bomber for Allah" manual.

Here's my question - the 4th Infantry was supposed to be steaming into Kuwait - where are they now? Regards, Ivan
Good question. I am assuming they are still en route?

Here's my question - the 4th Infantry was supposed to be steaming into Kuwait - where are they now? Regards, Ivan The 4th will probably fly in and "marry" up with their equipment. I would assume they would get oriented, move out and help mop up some bypassed pockets in the South.
The North is still a mystery to me. I wonder what will eventually happen there?

Suicide Bomber Attacks, One Dead. LOL!
To: MadIvan
It appears to be wrong. Sky News reporter on the ground has reported in the last hour that there was earlier two attempts by Iraqi armour to approach US forces. This armour was destroyed. Suicidal attacks yes, but not a suicide bomber.

I was just watching CNN. Their only report was video of Arabs, literally crying in tears before the camera--because allied soldiers are "searching our women, touching their very skin! Shameful!"
What effect will that have on many people watching CNN? They'll realizes how absurd political correctness is. Thank you CNN.
Uhh, stop the homicide bombing and maybe we'll ease up there pal.
Or, "hey pal, we stopped the Republican Guard from killing your wife or forcing here into a suicide mission. And besides, at least you're still alive so cry all you want."

What effect will that have on many people watching CNN? They'll realizes how absurd political correctness is. Thank you CNN. You're so optimistic! Yesterday on CNN, Shi'ite mullahs in the south were mixing it up with their parishioners (term?) because an American division wanted to clear a mosque. The waving fists, shouting, and gyrating we've seen all too often these days was a frenzy.
The ID contingent left, probably because they were outnumbered so badly. The first thing I considered as the cause was the possibility of Iranian agents. Anyhow, I think this was all being reported as if it were quite normal for people to be protective of their "churches." But really, who'd expect invading soldiers not to clear a type of building known to be frequently used by the enemy? These people seemed quite irrational, given the fact that the ID was there to "liberate" them. I want so much to engage these people, but I'm also not very confident that our troops will be safe unless we break these kinds of rules at will.

These are the same people who, if a woman gets raped, stone HER for being "provocative," and if a couple is found to have illicit sex, stones only the woman. Yah, they really care about the morality of women.
