May they now enjoy teh protection of the Lord as they face the task of cleaning out the underground tennels. I wish there was some way of suffocating everything down there first. I do not want to lose anything that is ours, man or machine.

I have great faith that our generals know exactly what they are doing, and have the situation well in hand.
That said, there is a spooky parallel to the First Battle of Grozny, when Russian armored columns penetrated directly into the center of the Chechen capitol, and were almost wiped out in furious attacks from all directions during the first night.
Of course, we have many tools the Russians never had, and our troops are sober.

Hehe, I'm on the East Coast too....but trying to go to sleep now would be a foolish endevour! (plus there's a nasty ice storm rattling my windows) Same here... I have an APRIL (?) ice storm rattling my windows also (I'm in northern Connecticut).
