ditto, it all reminds me of a movie I saw about the torture practices of Hitler. I cannot believe the UN and a lot of the world did not want to help these people! Horrific!

I am very curious about what the review of Iraq's financial records will disclose. I expect that might answer a lot of questions regarding why some were against this war (and in France's case, under any circumstances )

My mom works with a guy who is a political exile from china, he was involved in organizing the tienamin square protest, his dad was an anti-communist revolutionary who was killed by the communists, he has some awful stories to tell of his life in china

Neither can I; nor can I understand how the Rats in our country, who have been privy to these atrocities (i.e., Daschole & Ilk), and the WMD secret info.....yet they have the gall to stand against and condemn our President.....I cannot help but think that God will hold these people almost as accountable as Hussein....honestly. Daschole and all the Rats who have been saying the most vitriolic things about Bush are to be condemned.

As I've posted for months now (but I know not every one has heard): I've known a bit more than a dozen Iraqis in my life. They were all extremely upset about the conditions in Iraq, and hoped for liberation. The last girl I knew was here getting an advanced Physics degree. Her family was hostage: if she didn't do well and return to Iraq, they were to be executed. There was no doubt of the veracity of the threat. Others I know managed to escape with their whole immediate family. The extended family was tortured and killed. The brutality of this regime has been known to all those who would explore a bit and listen. That the world has dealt with this brutality in such a cowardly manner is despicably shameful.
