I was here till 4 a.m. this morning, too.....and I'm vey tired; Chemical Ali may be real dead this third time....they bombed him tonight at his farm....we shall see if CentCom says he's dead tomorrow.
Chemical Ali is starting to make me think of one of my favorite Southpark characters.
*Oh my god! you killed Kenny!*

Fox - Rick Levanthal reports that his unit killed 3 tanks yesterday. On security mission. Saw alot of flashes on the horizon due to Baghdad being bombed. EPW's that just drove up in pick-up trucks indicating that all their gear has been destroyed when showed pictures of their armor while being asked where any where. Some armor was parked less than 30 minutes before his unit arrived and destroyed them. Linked up with supplies last night and loaded up.

I wonder where they chems and germs are? Surely they will find some,,if not the dems will have multiple simultaneous orgasms of delight....It is HIGHLY, highly likely, that if Chem/Bio weapons are not used by Iraq that it will take us 2-3 months to locate their labs/storehouses. Remember, in order to do that, we are probably going to have to locate some high level scientists (or govt officials - if we are unfortunate enough to have any of them remaining) and then interview them. As I suspect that such storehouses/labs are underground, it is very likely that there will be some major excavation which will have to be done to reach those facilities, as we are likely to have used bunkerbusters to bury the entrances under a hundred feet of rubble under the palaces, RG headquarters, etc. This excavation and search is going to take some time. Nevertheless, there is sufficient cause right now to realize that they have Chem/Bio - given the masks, suits, artillery shells, etc... as well as the trace finds of tabun, ricin, etc. already noted.

I agree, My brother-in-law was in GWI. One of the many regrets in my life is I didn't go in the military. Well, you can cut your hair, get up at 4:30 make your bed, run til ya puke and call yourself a maggot all day long. Then fire off some rounds, and shine your boots, and eat really bland food. It's a somewhat reasonable fascimile of basic training.
I actually missed Gulf War I. I got out 2 months before Saddam invaded Kuwait.

I shudder to think of all the stashes that are hidden in that country. Our guys are smart to stay alert everytime they step anywhere new.

I'm proud of my brother. He's in the Navy and somewhere off the east coast tonight. He and his ship fired the first shot in Afganistan. Two other brothers in the Navy at different times. Very Proud tonight. Me, I'm afraid of water and I joined the Army.

My favorite dead joke...
A little boy was at Sunday School, and he asked his teacher where Lazarus was living now. The teacher responded that Lazarus was dead. The boy replied... "Again???"
