Baghdad Bob says they have every thing under control.Someone earlier on CNN said it was like Goebbels just before the fall of Berlin--making up entire divisions, talking about victories in battle that never occurred....
To: Green
The soldier again said, "Jessica Lynch, we're the United States soldiers and we're here to protect you and take you home." She seemed to understand that. And as he walked over and took his helmet off, she looked up to him and said, "I'm an American soldier, too."All of them heroes.
To: commish
Just read the article with the laundry list of Jessica Lynch's wounds. Head Wound, Spinal injury, broken arm , both legs, right ankle. &^#%$(&*^%$ BASTARDS!You forgot the part about them not feeding her for 8 days...
To: Dolphy
Yes they are, for sure.

Ok, FNC talkign about yesterday's Saddam Video
Has anyone mentioned that many in the video are wearing jackets and it was close to 100 degrees yesterday in Baghdad? Who wears a jacket in 100 degree weather?

Is it true that Teresa (Heinz) Kerry, wife of the Jr Senator from Mass.and Demorat Pres candidate has furnished the plane that is flying the family to Germany?

Snappy retort noted.

I've heard on FN several times today that she also had a broken collar bone. Now where did that info come from?

per CNN today..Chemical Ali's home bombed by coalition. Not sure if he was in it. 101st Airborne found a lot of weapons in Karbala today and guess what? Boxes had Jordan and France on them. CNN spanned the boxes really good and the Sgt. was shocked. The Sgt. said there were limited Russian weapons. Also, a lot of resistance has been encountered by people who are from Yemen, Syria, Egypt and Jordan per a reporter on MSNBC today in south central Iraq. We found what is considered to be a possible terrorist camp or temporary place for these mercenaries to operate. They have big wad of money with them.

Anyone seen any confirmation about the three Ba'athist party guys who were hanged by the locals...

Anyone, anywhere who thinks the guys in charge of this operation or the troops in the field have at any time been overconfident has not been paying attention to this war. These lazy worry-wart pundits and armchair quarterbacks with their worse case scenarios help no one, don't come off as clever - just the opposite. (rant over)

A very generous offer, or an attempt to make Mr "Regime Change" seem more military friendly
To: BagCamAddict
What an incredibly thoughtless question. The family walked away and onto the plane, obviously overcome.
Why couldn't this reporter focus on the happy aspect of this trip, the family's anticipation of their reunion with Jessica? Her mother had just said how happy and excited she was. It's like the reporter just had to burst that bubble and drag the family back down.
Come to think of it, that's exactly what the lib press has been doing with their coverage throughout the war.
To: don-o
Find someone else to blame.
Has it occurred to you that these people may have not had contact with anyone besides their daughter, their friends and relatives and the horde of press outside their home?
To: ztiworoh
Yes, that observation was picked up on right away here on FR yesterday. Can't pull anything past the folks here, that's for sure.
