Maybe. But if so, then it was when someone could have stood up at the podium after the microphone check and says "The Lynch's have not been informed of the KIA status of the other members of Pvt. Lynch's convoy. They have obviously had enough to worry about regarding their own daughter, so please respect that and DO NOT ask questions regarding the other KIAs."

(And then we'd have bitc*ing and moaning about freedom of the press, etc.)
