That was a scary clip....enemy just appearing out of the woods like that. Note they didn't even have white flags. How much you want to bet the RG made sure none of those Baghdad soldiers had ANYTHING white on them?!
Despite myself, I can't help but feel sorry for those pitiful surrendering soldiers. It's not logical...but they're so scared and pitiful. Too bad those Fedayeen ba$tards had to make it so hard to know who's really surrendering.

Yes, I saw the transcript that Ragtime did. I also watched the briefing. I just wanted to post the portion of the official transcript where the general gave the details of her rescue.

Hey, Ragtime Cowgirl. now that I see your typing I think it was you who did the transcript of Centcom this morning. Perhaps the person who was looking for the transcript can do a search on your posts. Thanks for your efforts.

That last boom woke up the Mullah! That's how their system works. Jets and boom wake up muezzin; muezzin gives air-raid warning.

What are the odds of that clip of us taking the soldiers as POW's making the arab tv networks?

I agree. They, 90%, are there by force--at Saddam's pleasure. The Fedayeen is comparable to Al-Qaeda in that they are terrorists, except they terrorize their own people.

OK. You win.

Are you OK Dog? I saw something about a dog getting whacked by the Marines near Baghdad. I feared the worst.

hahahaha that is great. Good thing the Coalition aren't anywhere near Bagdad---and those that are are surrounded by the Republican Guard.

Sky guys are whining about what military value did the foray have? Smack the little twits, they have no business handling those mighty pens. If they bothered listening to the experts, their betters, they'd know that every one of their whiney complaints has been answered.
We took the airport for: #1 preventing remaining bad guys from fleeing, #2 checking out stuff we know from intel...tunnels, etc, and #3 for a base of operations near the city, #4 prove to the Iraqi people that the Info Min.'s lying and we're in control...live, on coalition FREE-IRAQ radio and TV.
Do you have the SkyNews e-mail address?

You know, there's a lot of talk about Nazis, but these guys seem worse. Can any historians out there remember a case where soldiers forced citizens of their own nation out in front of them to die?
