Cool now I can put two cam panorama with the Alwiya Club in the middle back up. Oh no it's Baghdad Bob again!

I am still stunned at the exclusivity given FOX on the entrance to BAG. Two reporters, while other nets are sitting it out at the airport or worse. It's extraordinary!

Yeh! That'll teach FoxNews for being so gungho-pro-military!

It would be interesting to be a fly on the wall at the staff meetings for the other networks this morning....I'd imagine a lot of yelling and sweating. Some heads will roll in the coming weeks.

They've found some of the delivery systems--now where's the STUFF? You know it's around that weapons cache somewhere. Or in a nearby school, hospital or mosque.

But a 120 bunkers full of weapons? The Marines must be awed.

But ya know, I have a feeling there's going to be a freeper or two who says, "that's nothing. I've got 200 bunkers full of munitions and I'm thinking about doubling it soon."

The overall positive tone of that morning briefing...stunning. Renuart looked like the cat that ate the canary.

Sumpin's up.

I'm waiting for the other nets to send up the cry "not fair! not fair!"

IMO a bunker full of ammo is kind of useless. A rifle full of ammo in your hands, however...

No, they'll say that Fox is in some evil plot with our evil military to take over the US. /sarcasm

From another thread about pay rates.

Australian troops in designated war zones get their normal pay (a Private earns between $36 607 and $46 210 depending on specialisation. Regular infantry earn $39 808), PLUS combat pay of $200 per DAY, PLUS seperation and field allowance of $50 per DAY, PLUS (for the SAS troops) $155 per DAY special forces pay.

And it's all TAX FREE while in the War Zone.

The LOWEST paid Aussie is getting between $359 and $514 per DAY TAX FREE.

I really envy FReeper Dundee right about now.

pMSNBC saying the probe into Baghdad to "send a message". Libs are all about sending messages. I'm rather confident that our military does not send troops into harms way to 'send messages'.

Prolly they were having to watch FOX to get their news, grinding their teeth the whole time....Love it!

Green, Jed Babbin is a columnist for NRO, former Assistant Sec Def. He's still very "connected".

Birds on the BagCam....good sign.

Well, I guess we know the new network of record....

Fox news

When I watched Greg Kelly take that trip through Baglang it didn't dawn on me that indeed, they had been given the exclusive first shots of Bagland

I wish our troops were paid better. We have SO MANY reservists. They should not face bankruptcy for saving the country.

My dad worked for DYNCORP during GWI and he was over in Saudi during the first gulf war. Dyncorp's contract with the military has a clause that if the contractors are positioned in combat zones, their pay goes up like the enlisted military pay goes up for combat. My father got combat pay rates and it was tax free.
