You can tell when the Dixie Chicks went Hollywood..they never were country, when they got their boobs sculpted and quit wearing bras.

They were good Bluegrass, until Sony took them over, fired half of them, including the lead singer, and put in Natalie and a bunch of studio musicians.

I used to catch them every time they hit Austin -- great music, and they were "just folks" back then. I wouldn't go to one of their concerts now with free tickets.

I have a copy of their "Thank Heavens For Dale Evans" (on cassette, but I got a great digital rip to .wav and made a CD of it), and listen to it all the time. It's nothing like the stuff they do now.

I've seen more Coalition Aircraft than pedestrians wandering to and fro.

Oh, maybe those occasional horses and carts are the Fedayeen.
