PRINCETON BOROUGH - The Rev. Pat Robertson spoke from the lectern at Princeton University last night like it was his pulpit, calling students to stand up for their moral convictions and not be swayed by popular culture.
His hair is all gray now, he had surgery in February and is recovering from prostate cancer, but the evangelist showed no signs of wavering last night when he spoke at the invitation of a student group.

Do you think that Islam has frequently since it's inception been at war with Christianity?
I do. I think it ebbs and flows. Right now it's flowing, but we're working on it.

I just finished my fresh grilled pompano and am now going to light up a La Gloria Cubana with my lovely wife and watch a movie while the children are to bed.
I will be back. I almost never ignore a post to me.
Regards.

There's been allot of these wars. They are happening right now in fact.
They can't be justified, but domestically if we have an American who wants to be a Druid, Muslim, Jew, Christian.. Etc, and they can do it peacefully and within the law, I simply can't justify oppressing them for their belief.
Our Constitution is all we have that allows us to co-exist in relative peace here. It's the reason we aren't like these other, war torn parts of the world and it allowed us to become the most successful political experiment in history.
If some old woman somewhere wants to bow down to "Allah" 4 times a day and not eat pork, it's fine with me.
So long as she functions within the law, I will support her right to worship a chia pet, if that's what it takes to make her happy.

Now, I can understand a nationwide movement to ban those.
Screw the Constitution, If you worship a Mr. T Chia Pet then the end is nigh anyway.

Islam is unlike any other belief system on earth.
Islam calls for the execution of Muslims who convert to another faith.
Islam calls for execution of all who attempt to convert Muslims to another faith.
Islam divides the entire world into the the "House of Peace", those areas controled by Muslims where Islamic Law is enforced, and the "House of War", those areas not yet Islamicized.
At this very moment, Christians and Animists are being persecuted by Muslims in Africa; Ba'hais, Buddhists, Sikhs, Zoroastrians and Hindus are being persecuted by Muslims in Asia; and Muslim communities and clerics in North America and Europe are speaking out violently against Christianity and Western Society and Western Democracy. When no "unbelievers" are around for them to spew their hatred at, they fight amongst themselves - Sunnis killing Shiiites and vice-versa, etc.
Islam considers a theocracy where the dominant religion is Islam as a goal to be aimed for.
Islam has frmo its very inception been a belief system spread through violence and oppression, and it hasn't stoped yet. While Christianity has mellowed substantially, and in its more aggressive phase was out of step with the teachings of its Founder, Islam has become if anything, more intolerant, more aggressive, and more brutal with time. Further, its founder himself advocated oppression of the unbeliever, and enjoined his followers not to make friends of Christians or Jews.
If Mohammad had been born today, and he started his teachings in the U.S., his "religion" would be considered a cult on the same level as "Heaven's Gate". Only their long history of existence and large number of adherents protect this belief system from its proper appelation - a cult.
As a cult, and not a religion - in the proper sense - Islam CAN be persecuted, and its followers banished. If the House Unamerican Activities Committee was still alive today, it would be investigating Islam instead of communists.
Unless some steps are taken and taken soon to surpress this cult, the future of America lies before us in the desolation of Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, etc.

He and I and nopardons and a handful of others were among a handful that questioned the immediate capitulation to PC forces during the Lott Affair even though none of us felt Lott was worth defending.I too *at first* defended Lott -- IMO he was making self effacing jokes about his segregationist past and nothing more. I made about 40 posts stating such. However, it was Lott who became PC when he made that suck-up appearance on that TV show. It was at that point that I thought he should go.

There are thousands of peaceful, American Muslims who go about their business daily.. and prove you wrong.
Your little "Jihad" is unconstitutional, it's un-Christian and it's immoral.
Say anything you wish about Islam, but the fact remains that the majority of American Muslims pose no threat to anyone.

Yes, yes, and there were "good" Nazi's too. Spare us the antidotal nonsense.
To: wardaddy
PS: Lott deserved to go, but not for what he said.
Even Tom Daschle came out (at first, before they realized the spin potential of his comments) and said Trent wasn't a racist, he screwed up and the whole affair was one big to-do about nothing.

If you want to go to the high court and convince them that some old woman who worships "allah" and has hurt no one, is a modern day nazi and therefore deserves being oppressed... You just go right ahead.
Get back to me when they rule on it. I could use a laugh.

When a religious act exceeds the law, then we have our laws to protect us. There is no need to ban any specific religion in this country. Only specific behavior needs to be banned.

PS: You deserve to be hit by lightning for this lie.
You tell me, mister jihadder how many american muslims have risen up and followed Osama's orders?
Round numbers.. come on..
Seems to me you're the one dealing in "antidotal nonsense" here.

Exactly..
I think what we have here is come bigotry wrapped in "christian virtue" and "patriotism"
I bet allot of similar arguments were made about the blacks in years gone by.
I think it's just a good excuse for the raving semites, faux christians and anti-arabs/anti-blacks to pile on.
These people have no facts on their side, just paranoid ravings about what "Dem nasty Muslims" will do to us in our sleep.

Preaching the Koran in a Mosque can be equated to conspiracy, and racketeering, since the Koran openly teaches death, enslavement, and theft from non muslims.
To: TJFLSTRAT
Read the Old Testament lately?
"eye for an eye" and such things.. Stonings.
Now, I don't see the streets filled with Christians or Jws bent on hurting people after worship services.
Similarily, I don't see the throngs of blood crazed American Muslims our pilaging either.
It's a fairy tale perpetuated by racists and bigots.

Go to any "muslim" chat room, on Yahoo for instance, and count all the "pro American" folks there. Also we all know the rhetoric from Louis Farrakhan , you know they guy who called for an Iraqi victory?

Go to the DU, or read the mainstream press. Look at Peter Arnett.
I guess they are all Muslims too?
