He and I and nopardons and a handful of others were among a handful that questioned the immediate capitulation to PC forces during the Lott Affair even though none of us felt Lott was worth defending.

I too *at first* defended Lott -- IMO he was making self effacing jokes about his segregationist past and nothing more. I made about 40 posts stating such. However, it was Lott who became PC when he made that suck-up appearance on that TV show. It was at that point that I thought he should go.

LOLOOOLOL! She...ah he, was a real piece of work.

Yes...it was hard to defend someone who wouldn't defend himself.

Ms. Poppins....I don't miss her.
