PRINCETON BOROUGH - The Rev. Pat Robertson spoke from the lectern at Princeton University last night like it was his pulpit, calling students to stand up for their moral convictions and not be swayed by popular culture.

His hair is all gray now, he had surgery in February and is recovering from prostate cancer, but the evangelist showed no signs of wavering last night when he spoke at the invitation of a student group.

If you want to go to the Gaza Strip and attempt to apply American law to a Palestinian, knock yourself out.

So I should do nothing while Muslim Muftis in foreign countries fill their young men with hate, claim the cloak of religion, and send those men to here to kill as many Americans as they can (Mohammad Atta and gang)?

You obviously aren't addressing this to me, because I hate terrorists.

Further, if you will re-read the thread you will see that post #5 is what brought me and my (obviously) unwelcome opinion into the matter to begin with.

It regards domestic Muslims and a "ban" on them in toto.

Aside from that, kill all the terrorists you want. I will cheer you on.

"Judge not" has nothng to do with it.

"Do unto others" does, however.

Islam is an Unconstitutional religion because it advocates a theocracy.

Actually, Islam doesn't do this. Certain adherents believe it does, but it doesn't.

The talk in most Mosques today is that one day the US will be run by an Islamic president and will become a Moslem nation.

Let's see how this sounds:

The talk in lots of Christian churches is that Christians are glad the US is run by a Christian president and that it is a Christian nation.

How do you feel about that statement?

And you are trying to use my religion & the Constitution against peaceful, American Muslims.. Of which there are thousands.

There is no support for either argument.

An Islamic theocracy in the USA is the goal of these bastards and they must be stopped.

This supposed religion must be made illegal due to its goal of takeover of our government

Do you think that all the Muslims in the US want to establish "An Islamic theocracy in the USA?"

Do you think that wanting to establish a theocracy in the US is a crime?

You can regulate immigration. Short of that, there's not much you can do about those Muftis, unless you want to start another Crusade.

There's a difference between recognizing that all Muslims aren't terrorists and being naive.

The facts are aligned against the "peaceful" nature of Islam. If someone can cite me similar verses in Buddhists texts, we can talk. Even Jesus "I came not to bring peace but a sword" is tame in comparison to the Koran.

Let me know when you hear Buddhist clerics all over the world calling for jihad.

...me and my (obviously) unwelcome opinion

Don't confuse debate with welcomeness. You're very welcome. Free Republic would be a dry and dusty place if we didn't have differences of opinion. I don't want to argue with myself ;-) though I have replied to my own post more than once. Debating peripheral points serves to clarify the main point sometimes. Heck, check out DU, where you can't even get people to all agree on the basic fundamentals of anything. I am always encouraged by the high level of discourse here on FR. It's very addictive.

You know, that's really open minded of you.. I appreciate it.

I usually wind up getting called a bunch of names after this sort of thing.

The talk in lots of Christian churches is that Christians are glad the US is run by a Christian president and that it is a Christian nation.

WE are a Christian Nation. We have a constitution that was written by men who understood the failings of man. They knew that a State Religion was and is a problem with good government. Christianity is not trying to run the country. I do not hear Christians saying that they will kill people if they are not Christians. Islam is repleat with references to Jihad, KILLING Infidels, Killing non believers.

I am not worried about Christians, I'm worried about the 167 wars that are going on in this world that out of those 167 wars, 163 of them involve Islamic radicals.

Thanks for your answer, but we have to agree to disagree. I will answer No to both questions.

Let me know how many American Muslims respond to the calls for jihad from obscure Muslim clerics in Iran, or Syria, or wherever.

In truth, they laugh at them. I have a Muslim in my neighborhood who says that most American Muslims reject the violent parts of the Koran. He says that they were written in a historical context that no longer exists.

Kinda like an "eye for an eye."

{In many of the Muslim countries man-boy sex is winked at}

These Muslims must be following the example of the Prophet Muhammad. Last June, Jerry Vines, a Southern Baptist pastor, called the Prophet Muhammad a "demon-possessed pedophile."

See my previous post. Most American Muslims seem to reject these references, as they aren't acting on them.

How many American Muslims, in your opinion, are on a jihad?

There are two types of Islam. The one that is presented to the gullible public is the Medina version.

This version speaks of peace and love and all that.

The real Islam is actually the Meccan version. This is what Islam is really about. All Muslims know that the Meccan version of Islam is the only true version.

This version of Islam is the one that advocates the killing of infidels and JIhad.

This version also calls Jesus Christ the bastard son of roman soldiers and his mother a Whore.

You need to know the truth about Islam and then all will become quite clear.

They want to take over and kill you if you do not agree with them. JIHAD LIVES in the minds of these kooks.
