[history]
In addition to the rallies at the State Capitol building, and the Civic Center, last weekend (3/30)there was also a support our troops rally at the Ewa end of Ala Moana Park from 10-12. There will be one this Saturday. This was the first time I've ever attended a rally/protest of any kind. It was soooo much fun, there was a DJ playing all kinds of patriotic music, and about 200-300 people attended. Hopefully the fun won't be spoiled this weekend by the "peace activists" who crashed the rally at the Civic center last weekend. Hope to see eveyone there!!!!

Great to see some activity. My wife and I were in HNL about 2 weeks ago and we both were amazed at the apparent lack of any show of patriotism, military support, lack of U.S flags flying, etc(even recognizing the sensitivity to local Asian tourist trade). We were very disheartened and noted it to our friends on our return. I even suggested it might not be worth touring there any time soon. I wrote a letter to the local HNL Red rag noting such apparent lack of appreciation for what most of us hold dear. I am sure it never saw the light of day.
Carry on with vigor everywhere.

Ladies and Gentleman,
Fear not the lack of any apparent lack of support for our troops, the war, and support for our Commander-in-Chief. There are large pockets of support for the United States and our worthy causes here in the United Socialist State of Hawaii. So, when all you transients are in town, feel free to tune into AM 830 on your radio dial and the truth shall ease your worried mind. LOL!!

ALRIGHT, and we know that there are more for us than against us. Love our nation, the firm leadership of President Bush, love our troops and of course, love Hawaii with it's passionate people, its Northshore, its Ala Moana, and patriotic support for what is right. Mahalo Nui Loa!

This week was a small rally, but none the less a huge success. There were only about 20-30 people, everyone was probably rallied out from last week. But Teresa said next Sat. will be another biggie. The channel 2 news was there so she was able to announce next week's rally. And I am going to post a message on the "board" at the BX here on Hickam.(If they will let me)Thanx for your support!!!

...Love that...
