I am with-holding my thoughts until I hear what Jeanne Garafalo has to say on this. She is smart. She has a satelite dish.

I'll bet she's squirming. Wasn't she going to crawl to Washington and kiss GWB's feet if chem/bio WMD were found? [But, then, considering the reliability of the hollyweird to keep their word, she'll find an excuse to renig. Alec didn't leave the country in 2000, etc.]

She was going to crawl on broken glass. Hope she's got industrial strength kneepads. The ones she has left over from the Klintoon era probably won't do.

Dear U.N.:

Looks like our inspectors are a tad more thorough than Hans' inspectors.

From Sky News: 'SUSPICIOUS SITE' FOUND NEAR BAGHDAD

US troops have reportedly found a "suspicious site" containing chemical warfare equipment.

Officials said thousands of boxes of white powder, chemical warfare documents and nerve agent antidote had been found.

The haul was seized south of Baghdad.

A Sky News defence analyst said the white power may be a decontamination agent.

This would be used to protect Iraqi soldiers from any Coalition chemical attack.

More follows...

You are Tide propagandist! I hit you head with shoes!

It is Ivory that is 99.44% pure. You ask Miss Chambers, she will swallow no propaganda.

Are you really Alexander's horse? Typing must be a burden, eh?

Being in vials, makes it highly suspicious. Doubt that this is artificial sweetner, baby powder or corn starch!

SUSPICIOUS SITE' FOUND NEAR BAGHDAD

US troops have reportedly found a "suspicious site" containing chemical warfare equipment.

The haul included boxes of white powder, nerve agent antidote and Arabic documents on how to engage in chemical warfare.

The discovery was made at an industrial site south of Baghdad, according to a US officer.

Colonel John Peabody, engineer brigade commander of the 3rd Infantry Division, said the materials were found at the Latifiyah industrial complex just south of Baghdad.

"It is clearly a suspicious site," Col Peabody said.

He said troops found thousands of boxes, each of which contained three phials of white powder, together with documents written in Arabic that dealt with how to engage in chemical warfare.

He also said they discovered atropine, which is used to counter the effects of nerve agents.

The facility had been identified by the International Atomic Energy Agency as a suspected chemical, biological and nuclear weapons site.

UN inspectors visited the plant at least nine times, the last inspection being as recent as February 18.

The facility is part of a larger complex known as the Latifiyah Explosives and Ammunition Plant al Qa Qaa.

During the 1991 Gulf War, US jets bombed the plant.

Oh brother... I'm sure that once WMD is finally confirmed, idiots will claim that Saddam rushed them into production to protect Iraq from the coalition.

Officer: Troops Find Vials of Powder

.c The Associated Press

NEAR BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - U.S. troops found thousands of boxes of white powder, nerve agent antidote and Arabic documents on how to engage in chemical warfare at an industrial site south of Baghdad, a U.S. officer said Friday.

Col. John Peabody, engineer brigade commander of the 3rd Infantry Division, said the materials were found Friday at the Latifiyah industrial complex 25 miles south of Baghdad.

``It is clearly a suspicious site,'' Peabody said.

Peabody said troops found thousands of boxes, each of which contained three vials of white powder, together with documents written in Arabic that dealt with how to engage in chemical warfare.

He also said they discovered atropine, used to counter the effects of nerve agents.

The facility had been identified by the International Atomic Energy Agency as a suspected chemical, biological and nuclear weapons site. U.N. inspectors visited the plant at least nine times, including as recently as Feb. 18.

The facility is part of a larger complex known as the Latifiyah Explosives and Ammunition Plant al Qa Qaa.

During the 1991 Gulf War, U.S. jets bombed the plant.
